Winterizing in Southern California…

I remember last Fall taking to a friend who was living in Ohio and us talking about his process for preparing for Winter, “Winterizing”. The process was lengthy and took him an entire weekend to complete the work!

As we come to the end of Fall and Winter begins I thought it fitting to share how “Winterizing” works when you live in Southern California. Don’t be fooled into thinking we don’t prepare for Winter, we totally do! So take that all my Midwest, East Coast, South East living peeps!

Chad… that was more of a 14 than 411 and since we don’t have an umbrella for our patio set… I’m done! (as it’s finally raining)

Dude. I don’t even move the umbrella. I just leave it there all winter long. You know, so I don’t have to do any “summerizing” come June. :)

So your feed wasn’t working for me but I’ve fixed that now and discovered this gem of a vid.

Not sure I’d be able to go through such a rigorous and exhausting winterization process though…

I laughed so hard I almost peed myself. My sister moved back East a few years ago and she talks at lenght about “Winterizing’. Some of my family lives back East also and they think we are such babies in California with our “Storm Watch” coverage. You look a lot like my brother so they are gonna love this.
